  • Please dress appropriately for an outdoor weather activity (i.e. dress in layers if it’s chilly, hats are fine to wear, and wear breathable clothing for those hot days).

    Comfortable non-heeled shoes are recommended. Should you prefer to wear heeled shoes, you will be required to remove them prior to charter and you can carry them onboard.

  • We ask that your group arrives 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

  • Yes! Life jackets are provided for all ages! Kid jackets will be fitted and distributed by Joyride staff upon arrival.  Adult life vests are located on the boat under the two forefront seats. 

    In addition, children under the age of 13 are required by Georgia law to wear a life vest while aboard the vessel.  Please inform Joyride of any guests 13 or under at least 48 hours prior to your charter so we can provide proper safety equipment. Any children unable or unwilling to wear a life vest will not be allowed to board the boat and no refunds will be provided.

    Lifejackets will also be provided for any pets as well! Please inform Joyride of your dogs weight at least 48 hours prior to your charter so we can provide proper safety equipment.

  • No, swimming is not permitted off of any Joyride boats.

  • Yes, you are welcome to bring any beverage of your choice on the charter!  Joyride provides coolers, cups and ice free of charge.

  • Joyride offers gourmet catering options from Savannah’s best local restaurants and markets, delivered right to the boat for you!  Be sure to select the Catering Add-On at checkout and one of our Joyride team members will contact you 24 hours prior to charter to curate your catering specifications.

    We do allow for you to bring your own food if preferred.

  • Charters will disembark from Savannah Bend Marina at 3518 Old Tybee Road, Savannah, GA 31410 and there is plenty of parking in the lot at the marina. The price of parking is included in your ticket!

  • No, fishing is not permitted off of any Joyride boats.

  • The Savannah Bend Marina, where you will board and disembark your charter is a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Savannah, located at 3518 Old Tybee Rd, Thunderbolt, GA 31410.

  • We don’t believe in hidden fees for our guests, due to this your Captains' fee, parking fee and the platform booking fee are included in your ticket price!

    We will also provide a cooler with ice for your drinks. Cutlery, cups, plates and napkins will be provided for charters with the Catering Add-On selected at checkout!

  • Our electric boats are equipped for a maximum of 6 passengers.  Children count as passengers, however, pets do not.

  • Yes! We allow 1 dog weighing no more than 35 pounds to join per charter.  This request must be made by selecting the Pet Add-On Package which is a $75 nonrefundable cleaning fee upon booking the reservation or you will not be permitted to board with the dog upon arrival. 

  • Joyride does not accept cancellations or changes to reservations unless they are made and accepted by Joyride at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to your charter date. Joyride will retain and will not refund any fees paid for cancellations made after the 72 hour deadline.  

  • If you are running late to your charter and fail to notify Joyride of your late arrival, then Joyride will assume you are a “no show” and will terminate your charter without refunding, rescheduling, or crediting you and Joyride will retain any fees already paid (the “No Show Policy”). If, however, you notify Joyride prior to your charter commencing that you are running late, Joyride may, in its sole and absolute discretion, hold the vessel for a maximum grace period of 15 minutes.  Following the 15-minute grace period, Joyride will terminate your charter and the terms of the No Show Policy shall apply.

  • 1. Inclement Weather, Unforeseen Circumstances or Partial Charters: Weather related cancellations or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. medical emergencies), including partial charters are determined by Joyride’s sole and absolute discretion.  If the weather is anticipated to be unsafe or unenjoyable for you as a customer, Joyride may cancel the charter in advance of the charter commencing and/or while onboard the charter.  In the event a weather related cancellation or other unforeseen circumstance where a cancellation or early termination of the charter occurs, you will be notified no later than one (1) hour prior to your charter commencing or in the instance of a charter concluding early due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified while on charter, and the following options will apply:

    a.     Reschedule: In the event rescheduling your charter is possible, Joyride will submit a link for you to reschedule your charter via the email on file with the original booking reservation, or, a Joyride team member can reschedule you for your preferred date and time over the phone at your request.  The credit to reschedule your charter will expire after one (1) calendar year of the date of cancellation and you hereby acknowledge and agree that any and all fees paid that are not rescheduled within one (1) calendar year of the date of cancellation are hereby retained by Joyride; or

    b. Refund: In the event rescheduling your charter is not possible, you must notify Joyride by email and/or phone number to request a refund for your cancelled charter. Requests for refunds must be received by Joyride within forty-eight (48) hours of Joyride cancelling the charter for a refund to be issued.  Any request(s) for a refund made after forty-eight (48) hours following the cancelled charter will be denied and the terms of reschedule in subsection 1(a) above apply.  

    No refund or compensation will be paid if your charter is cancelled or terminated early due to a Force Majeure Event, as defined in Joyride's Terms & Conditions and Release of Liability Waiver.

  • You may not bring: firearms, illegal drugs, anything that can be lit (i.e., candles, cooking heaters) fireworks, flammable liquid/gel/aerosol paint and/or dangerous chemicals. There is also no smoking (of any kind) permitted on the boats. Alcohol is permitted in any container, just be responsible and respectful with our boats and the environment, please.

  • While it is not required, it is customary to tip your captain. Our captains work very hard to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests and a tip is sincerely appreciated!
